This is a very clever solution to the difference a Minox LX presents when one attempts to take photographs with the LX on a Minox tripod. The classic version of the Minox tripod adapter, successfully employed in use for A/III/B/C/BL does not work, because: a) the LX has a different mounting method on a tripod and b) the LX has a different position of the release button.

The release cable is screwed in the threaded place of the adapter, and the whole adapter is fixed onto the tripod head by screwing the camera onto the threaded but of the tripod.
