Agfa Silette-L

Agfa Silette-L

Quite an interesting camera, for those who are into these vintage machineries, the Agfa Silette-L is a working  witness of how the cameras were built in the days of yore.

Lens is Agfa Color Agnar 2.8/45, a good piece of glass. An uncoupled light meter calculates in EV increments, and the shutter speeds are B, 30, 60 and 125. Aperture range from 2.8 to 22. Setting the right aperture and speeds is by reading and input of the meter’s needle over the values shown. Shutter clockwork is a Prontor 125, focusing is guestimating the distance via a 9 distance marks on the lens board ring.
