This is one of the Minox film rolls that I have purchased in the 90’s, already expired at the time of purchase. I decided then to just keep them untouched, for collection only. A few years ago I changed my mind, because to be honest I did not see any reason why I should save the film instead of shooting it. And I started to use it, sparingly though, during my travels. These here are a few frames from a Minocolor 100, expired 1986, shot with a Minox B in 2015, while on business in Graz, Austria.
Not a bad outcome, although even a blind hedgehog could see the colors shifting, with tonalities all over the place. More LOMO than Minox, but I guess Minox can be LOMO too 🙂 . Photographes are scans of the negative, cropped as per need and the contrast enhanced.
