My Minox journey continues…

Minox in Berlin

Minox in Berlin

Berlin, an European city that excels in almost everything an amateur photographer may wish for a subject. From the Brandenburger Tor to the Checkpoint Charlie, you get to see and appreciate the entire span of the last several hundreds of years of architectural design, historical monuments and buildings, a busy street life, and of course, your modern steel-and-glass fashionable faces of a city.

To be honest, my main interest was the old part of city, and that include Checkpoint Charlie area. It has a certain historical feeling to it, and of course the history buff that I am could not miss that. However, I am sorry to report that, out of 4 Minox rolls shot in the city on this occasion, all were stolen while waiting for my plane in the airport. Yes, I know, bad luck. So I was left with the last images of Berlin, shot in the last day there, at a beginning of a new roll in my Minox IIIs. Only 6 frames out of tens.

Oh well, I will always have the memories, right?
