About 2 days ago, Romania was hit by an arctic vortex. From 20*C outside, we went to an abrupt -8. Snow storms covered everything in the NE of Romania, and my province (Moldova) was hit hardest: tens of major roads blocked, towns and villages cut off from electricity, even victims, from what the media tells us.
These images have been shot in the town of Bacau, and what you see is the result of just a few hours snowing. This was Wednesday mid morning; by evening, everything was closed down and snowed in. Pictures taken with Minox LX, loaded with Ilford Pan F50. Not the ideal film for this kind of weather, agreed.
