This is one example of compatible 8×11 film cassettes. It was made by ACMEL Japan, and it was destined to work with their Acmel 8×11 cameras (Acmel MX and MD). In no way different from the Minox ones, although I have heard that some users encountered such differences. I have not, and this type has been used by me for the last 3 or 4 years now, reloaded multiple times.
It would appear that the parts are not swappable, i.e. caps or the take up spool. And of course, you have the wording ACMEL on the connecting bridge, whereas the last model produced by Minox Germany had MINOX (in capital letters). All in all, I use these and I am glad, for the number of Minox ones is now rather lower than it was say, 10 years ago. If only I could get some more Acmel ones.
