This meter was named Sixtar in Europe, but its name in the USA was Super Pilot. Both names are of the same meter, this Gossen model. It reads very comfortable in low light situations, but the reading is a bit tricky, if you operate it in darkness. The reading is taken by a needle which needs to be matched by a circle motioned by the speed disc. I use this mainly when I am taking snaps by evenings or dusk. No idea how this performs in full darkness, never tried this way.
It has a SDC cell, activated by the battery. Very reliable, at least mine is. Uses the same battery as the Lunasix 3, a Varta 625, good replacement of old mercury PX13/V625.
