I was a resident of Horsham in W. Sussex for about a year or so. This small town was usually a quiet one, I mean nothing of the events which may or may not be on resident’s liking elsewhere. I, for one, enjoyed every little public do, when those happened, and I was quite happy to photograph people in the street, having fun and enjoying.
This Morris dancers took to the street in the spring of 2003, on High St, and as luck was on their side, the weather was all right. I spent a couple of hours in the crowds, and watching the show, such as it was. I had a roll of Agfa APX 400 in my Leica IIIf (which, sadly, is no longer with me) and I took a few snaps here and there.
Own process and scan. All in all, good fun and a good day to be with people on the streets of Horsham.
